Our passion for cooking and desire to offer a type of arquitectural space that stands out of Medellin’s traditions pushed us to open a place to enjoy a relaxing and fun time, doing exactly what we love doing.”.
/ LAURA LONDOÑO - CHEF /
In August 2013 Oci.Mde opened its doors in a quiet and tree-filled street at “ Provenza “ neighborhood in Medellín. Chef Laura Londoño, together with her husband Santiago Arango -Architect- , created this chic and modern place where great eighties tunes , slow cooked dishes and a select wine and cocktail list lure it’s guests into pleasant moments , in an unpretentious environment.
Oci.Mde offers an ever changing cuisine with a menu that is renewed every 6 months, using only the best local ingredients; fresh fish from the Colombian Pacific Ocean , organic grown vegetables, herbs and flowers sourced from local farmers and many others. Its weekly specials and its concept of “ food to be shared ” allow diners to try new dishes in every visit.
Slow cooked meats and fine blends of spices and herbs are part of Oci's signature cuisine , as well as perfectly balanced preparations that bring sweet, sour and spicy flavors together.
